All are welcome to join us for worship on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. At Altadore Church we value celebration as a natural response to God -- who He is, the gifts He has given us and to what He has done, is doing and will do within us and around us. We know what it means to rejoice and enjoy one another’s company. We are witnesses to the fact that God is active in the world. We want to go higher in celebrating God’s love for us and in proclaiming our love for God.

We value inclusion, believing that God has called us to live not for ourselves, but to extend ourselves into a broken world, welcoming all who come into our midst -- children, youth, married people, single people, older people, people from other cultures and circumstances – EVERYBODY!

Our services of worship include group singing, readings from the Bible, prayer and a time of teaching. Every service includes a time for children and Sunday School to follow. We observe the seasons of Lent, leading up to Easter, and the season of Advent, leading up to Christmas.

Our services also include the Lord’s Supper (also called Communion) and occasionally baptisms. According to our Constitution, we believe the ordinances of Believer’s Baptism by Immersion and the Lord’s Supper to be symbols of spiritual realities. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the first Sunday of each month, and Baptism throughout the year whenever people come forward to take this important step of faith.

Visitors and newcomers are sincerely welcome at Altadore Church. We want you to feel comfortable, so just sit and listen if you wish; do not feel obligated to sing or participate in any way that you aren't ready to. On the other hand, if you want to make yourself known, don’t hesitate to introduce yourself. After the service, we usually gather for refreshments in the gym, and you’re welcome to join us.
