Please join us for a special prayer event on January 28 following the morning service.  God has blessed the family of Altadore Baptist with a beautiful church building that has been our home for over 50 years.  Like all homes it has played a part in the lives of so many over that time; a place to gather to worship, to celebrate, to grieve, and to nurture our church family and the community around us.  We will meet in the lounge at 11:30 am and then move together around the building sharing memories of the past and talking about the present and praying for the future.  We would love to have as many members as possible join us, so if you are a little less nimble we will also have a group that stays in the lounge with some pictures and mementos from the past to ponder and praise God for the ways He has used His church; the building and the people!  This will be a great time to share your memories and hopes, to learn something about the history of our church and to prayerfully put our future in God’s hands.
