We're in the final days of Lent and this past Sunday (Lent 6, aka Palm Sunday) we listened to the story of John 12:12-26, and joined the crowd that bustled alongside Jesus. And I invited us to put ourselves alongside the "seekers" of the crowd who asked: "We wish to see Jesus."

We recognize the pain and turmoil that has come with the settlement of this place, acknowledging now our role in bringing God's healing peace through relationship with the land and all its diverse peoples.
We affirm our pledge for justice, for peace, and to make our church a place where all people, regardless of labels, are welcome to experience the true love of our Creator God in authentic community.
