Cottage Church Reflection, Week One (June 28/26)

This past Sunday at Cottage Church, Trudy shared a beautiful reflection on what it means to love someone through transition.

Using the life of a butterfly as her guide, she invited us to consider how transformation is rarely easy or immediate. There are seasons of uncertainty, grief, courage, waiting, and profound joy. Supporting someone we love through change often asks something of us too. It calls us to let go, to learn, to trust, and to keep choosing love.

Thank you, Trudy, for reminding us that transformation isn't something to fear. It's woven into creation itself. And sometimes the most faithful thing we can do is stay present long enough to watch someone spread their wings.
